Ravensend is the embodiment of the plight of cities and towns becoming shadows of themselves in the post-Imperial Cradlelands. Just like Rutherna and Venci it is a shell of its former self. In the past, Ravensend gained considerable wealth from being the last stopover before arriving at the city of Raveno. It even has ties to some of the same founders and architects.

But as corruptions grows in Raveno, less and less is given to its younger sibling. Without money from Raveno and an Imperial legion to protect them, Ravensend was defenseless when a Maelim warband sacked the place a century before the present. It has never recovered and all that remains are the poor and the corrupt. But there is yet a glimmer of hope, for a mysterious true Nephilim named Benjamin has taken residence in the town.

What he is planning none can say, but sometimes help can come from the most unexpected places...
